The short answer
What the Alma Harmony laser does
The Alma Harmony is one laser platform that holds several treatment tools, each designed for a different skin concern. Dr Oli uses it to tighten skin and stimulate collagen, calm acne and smooth acne scars, clear thread veins and cherry angiomas, and fade sun damage, pigmentation and rosacea redness. Your consultation decides which tool suits your skin. Most concerns need a course of 3 to 6 sessions. Downtime depends on the treatment, ranging from none at all to a few days of redness or small crusts. Every laser session takes place at UNTIL Soho, 111 Charing Cross Road, WC2H 0DT, and Dr Oli carries out every session.

Alma Harmony laser treatments in Soho
ClearLift laser for skin tightening
ClearLift Pro is a gentle laser that works beneath the surface of your skin, warming the deeper layers to boost collagen so the skin looks tighter and fresher and early pigmentation fades. The surface is left intact, so you can go straight back to your day. Most people need 4 to 6 sessions, 2 to 3 weeks apart, with a top-up every 6 months.
ClearSkin laser for acne and acne scars
ClearSkin Pro treats acne and acne scars at the same time. It calms overactive oil glands and helps reduce the bacteria behind breakouts, while rebuilding collagen to smooth pitted scars. Expect redness for 24 to 48 hours, a bit like mild sunburn, then carry on as normal. Most people need 4 to 6 sessions, 4 weeks apart. Dr Oli usually recommends it alongside retinoid creams and any acne medication you already take.
VascuPen for thread veins and cherry angiomas
VascuPen uses a fine, pen-like laser to treat small red marks one at a time. It clears thread veins, broken capillaries on the face or legs, and cherry angiomas. Each spot takes seconds, and most clear in 1 to 2 sessions. The treated vessel closes and your body clears it away over 2 to 4 weeks, and you may see mild redness or a tiny crust for the first 5 to 7 days.
Iris Dye-VL IPL for pigmentation and rosacea
Iris Dye-VL is a type of IPL (intense pulsed light) that targets both brown and red marks. It fades sun damage, age spots and freckles, and melasma in carefully chosen cases. It also reduces rosacea redness, broken capillaries on the cheeks and flushing. Brown marks darken and flake off over 7 to 10 days, and redness fades a little more with each session. Most people need 3 to 5 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart.
Combining laser with polynucleotides or Profhilo
Bio-Boost combines a laser session with polynucleotides or Profhilo in the same appointment. The laser prompts your skin to rebuild collagen, and the injectable supports its natural repair. It is often used for crepey skin under the eyes, sun-aged skin on the lower face and an overall glow. The price reflects the combined treatment time and product.
Laser treatment can help to:
Firm and refresh tired skin
ClearLift Pro warms the deeper layers of your skin to boost collagen and fade early pigmentation. The surface stays intact, so there is no downtime.
Calm active acne and soften scars
ClearSkin Pro calms overactive oil glands and helps reduce acne-causing bacteria. Over a course, it also rebuilds collagen to smooth pitted acne scars.
Clear thread veins and red spots
VascuPen treats single thread veins, broken capillaries and cherry angiomas in seconds. Most treated spots clear in one or two sessions.
Fade sun spots and even out redness
Iris Dye-VL, a type of IPL, fades sun damage, age spots and freckles. It also reduces rosacea redness and flushing over three to five sessions.
Get more from your injectable treatment
Bio-Boost pairs a laser session with polynucleotides or Profhilo in the same appointment. It is often used for crepey skin under the eyes and sun-aged skin on the lower face.
Laser treatment from consultation to aftercare
Every laser course starts with a consultation, because the right tool depends on your skin and your concern. Dr Oli checks your skin type, chooses the tool and settings, and gives you a written plan with the number of sessions and the total cost.
Consultation.
A £50 consultation covers a skin check, the choice of tool and a written plan. The £50 is taken off the cost of your treatment.
Preparation.
Stay out of the sun and avoid fake tan for 4 weeks before a session, and stop retinoid creams 5 days before. Tanned skin is more likely to change colour after laser.
Treatment.
Your session takes place at UNTIL Soho. Downtime depends on the tool, from none with ClearLift Pro to a small crust for 5 to 7 days after VascuPen.
Aftercare.
Wear SPF 50 every day. Avoid hot showers, saunas and hard exercise for 24 to 48 hours, and let any small crusts fall off on their own over 5 to 10 days.
Course and upkeep.
Most concerns need 3 to 6 sessions, 2 to 4 weeks apart, and after that most people have a maintenance session every 6 to 12 months.

FAQ
Laser skin treatment FAQs
Which laser treatment is right for me?
At Dr Oli Aesthetics, the right laser depends on your concern. ClearLift Pro tightens and refreshes skin, ClearSkin Pro treats acne and acne scars, VascuPen clears thread veins and cherry angiomas, and Iris Dye-VL fades sun damage, age spots and rosacea redness. Your £50 consultation includes a skin check and a written plan.
Is laser treatment safe for dark skin?
Most laser treatments at Dr Oli Aesthetics can be used on darker skin with the right settings. ClearLift Pro is usually the most suitable, and ClearSkin Pro is used at a lower power. VascuPen needs careful assessment, and Iris Dye-VL is generally avoided on the darkest skin types because it can leave dark marks.
Is there downtime?
Downtime at Dr Oli Aesthetics depends on the laser tool. ClearLift Pro has none, so you can fit it into a lunch break. ClearSkin Pro leaves redness for 24 to 48 hours, like mild sunburn, while VascuPen can leave small crusts for 5 to 7 days. After Iris Dye-VL, brown marks darken and flake off over 7 to 10 days.
How many laser sessions will I need?
Most people need 3 to 6 laser sessions at Dr Oli Aesthetics, 2 to 4 weeks apart, then a maintenance session every 6 to 12 months. ClearLift Pro and ClearSkin Pro usually take 4 to 6 sessions, and most thread veins clear in 1 to 2 VascuPen sessions. Your written plan shows the total cost upfront.
What are the side effects of laser treatment?
Side effects of laser at Dr Oli Aesthetics depend on the tool and usually pass quickly. Expect redness for a few hours up to 48 hours, and small crusts for 5 to 7 days after VascuPen. Tanned or sunburnt skin is more likely to change colour, so stay out of the sun before your session.
Can I combine laser with injectables?
Yes. At Dr Oli Aesthetics, Bio-Boost pairs a laser session with polynucleotides or Profhilo on the same day to support your skin's repair. Dermal fillers need a 2-week gap either side of laser, because heat can move the filler. Anti-wrinkle injections can be done on the same day as ClearLift Pro or VascuPen.
Where do laser treatments take place?
Dr Oli Aesthetics carries out every laser treatment at UNTIL Soho, 111 Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0DT, a 5-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road or Leicester Square stations. The laser is kept at the Soho clinic. Your consultation can take place at whichever of Dr Oli's clinics suits you best.
