What we store on your device
This website uses a minimal set of cookies and similar storage:
- Strictly necessary (browser localStorage): two first-party values (
flywheel_consent_v1andflywheel_marketing_v1) that remember your analytics and marketing choices so the banner only appears once. Treated under UK GDPR as a similar tracking technology to a cookie. Cannot be disabled: clearing them just re-prompts the banner. - Analytics: PostHog (opt-in): set only after you click "Accept" on the consent banner. Cookies named
ph_*distinguish anonymous return visitors from new ones and tie a session's events together. EU region (Frankfurt). We never capture form text, names, addresses, or clinical content. - Marketing: Meta pixel (opt-in, separate): set only after you switch Marketing on, either by clicking "Accept" or by ticking Marketing under "Choose". It loads
fbevents.jsfrom Meta and sets Meta's_fbpcookie, which tells Meta that a browser visited pages on this site so we can measure our adverts and reach similar audiences. It is a genuinely separate choice: you can accept analytics and refuse marketing. It never sends your medical history, your booking details, or which treatment you enquired about. - Third-party service cookies, when you follow a link to our booking system (Zenoti) or a social media profile, that third party may set its own cookies, governed by their own privacy policy.
Withdrawing or changing consent
Use the Cookie preferences link in the site footer at any time. It re-opens the consent banner so you can switch your choice without clearing browser data. Alternatively, clear cookies and localStorage for this site in your browser settings: the banner will reappear on your next visit.
What we do not use
No advertising or retargeting cookies beyond the Meta pixel described above, and none of them until you switch Marketing on. Nothing tracks you before you choose. No session replay of forms. No fingerprinting beyond PostHog's standard anonymous-visitor hash. No advert targeting based on a health condition, a treatment page you read, or anything in your patient record.
Updates
This cookie policy was last updated on 5 August 2026, when the Meta pixel was added. We will update this page if our cookie usage changes materially.
