Questions I get asked a lot

There is no such thing as too many questions when it comes to injectable treatments. Here are some of the most frequently asked ones, but if you can’t find what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to get in touch!

What are your credentials?

Dr Oli has an MBBS (medical degree) and BSc. He is also an MRCS (Member of Royal College of Surgeons). Dr Oli has received advanced training in aesthetic medicine from Derma Medical, Britain’s largest aesthetic training institute, as well as the Harley Academy.

Are your treatments safe?

While all treatments carry risk, these will be discussed with you in detail. At Dr Oli, all injectable treatments offered are safe for their use and are research-backed.

Do the treatments hurt?

All injectable treatments require a needle. The pain associated with treatments is often minimal, and in the case of dermal filler and some other treatments, numbing cream (local anaesthetic) is used.

Are the treatments you offer suitable for everyone?

In short, no. It is very important to begin with an initial consultation where you can discuss your treatment goals, and assess what options are available to you.

Do you have an age limit in terms of who you will treat?

No, however it is important to be realistic about treatment goals at any point. All patients must be at least 18 years old and have capacity to make decisions on their own health.

Do you offer online consultations?

Yes, however all risks and benefits will be recapped on the day of treatment, as per best practice guidelines.

How much does a consultation with Dr Oli cost?

An initial consultation costs £50, which is deducted from any treatment price. You can access our price list here www.DrOli.co.uk/treatment

Can I have my consultation and my treatment on the same day?

It depends on what treatment you are having. For fillers, in patients who have not had it before, we require seven days’ thinking time between consultation and appointment. This is in keeping with national best practice.

I am looking for a treatment which is not listed on your website. Can you offer it?

If there is a treatment which is not listed on the website and you are interested in the possibility of Dr Oli performing the treatment, this can be discussed with Dr Oli at your consultation. If the treatment is not offered, the reasons why will be explained to you, and further referral can be made if required.

What is your cancellation policy?

We all need to cancel appointments at times. If you cancel more than 48 hours ahead, there is no fee. Under 48 hours will cost £50. Please get in touch if you need more information!
